I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting M.W. Weemhoff, Maggie, and one young lady who's name escapes me, and by extension, the rest of the staff at Wiefels & Son Palm Springs.when I trusted them with the arrangements for my husbands funeral. I was taken such good care of by all of the staff there. I was never made to feel uncomfortable or rushed or pressured in any way. No request was too big, or impossible to accomplish. Not only was I taken care of, my Husband's brother, sister-in-law, and sister and my brother all got the same excellent attention to detail with working out the financial arrangements. My brother-in-law and brother were surprised at the affordability of Weifels services as oppossed to Denver and Charleston, SC, and for the level of personalized customer service and customer care. The kind, considerate, quiet professionalism of the staff immediately put me at ease and made me comfortable during one of the most gut-wrenching and stressful times of my life. I realize that on some level, I was an "easy sell" because I knew what Robert had wanted and I knew what I could and could not afford. I was never pressured or pushed into anything I didn't want or need. I was especially impressed with the professional and flexible manner that you dealt with all of my family members and never missed a beat while we got all the finances lined up and taken care of. Maggie was a pleasure and a joy to work with. She was so very kind, considerate, comforting, and patient, and just as M.W had the day before, she immediately made me feel comfortable and well taken care of, and that she was going to make sure everything was just right. I immediately trusted her and knew it would be. Today when I came to have my last visit with Robert, I was speechless. He looked so peaceful and natural - like he was taking a nap on the couch at home. I almost expected him to open his eyes and ask me for a glass of Milk. Your team of artisans did a fantastic job of cleaning him up, combing his hair, touching up and covering the bruises on his face and hands, getting his jaw and mouth back into the correct position, and most importantly - having his leather jacket on him, unwrinkled and perfect, just like he looked the first time I saw him wearing it the night we met and I fell in love with him 42 years ago. I will carry that fond memory in my heart and in my mind for the rest of my life. Please extend my most sincere thanks and deepest heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Wiefels & Son for a job most excellently and perfectly done. The Beach-Barrow Family

On behalf of the family of my beloved departed parents, Marilyn and Malcolm Gerstein, I want to thank the staff of Wiefels Palm Springs for your extraordinarily kind and skilled services to our family over the years. This extends from the prepayment insurance policy and specifications executed in 1999 when Malcolm and Marilyn lived in the Coachella Valley through their respective demise and burial in December 2012 and April 2018, when they resided in Claremont and were buried in the San Fernando Valley. Despite the extra distances and quick time frames involved, the Wiefels staff managed all of the mortuary and funeral arrangements with seamless efficiency, unfailing courtesy, forethought, and transparency. You respected every promise and wish, including special religious arrangements to prepare them for burial, and took the initiative to arrange for graveside military honors for Malcolm, who served in the Army during WWII. In every respect that I can think of in our communications and physical arrangements, Wiefels has been a model of professionalism and humanity. Thank you so much!
